Beach is a Paralegal for the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet. She began her career with state government in 1998. Prior to coming to the Personnel Cabinet she was an Executive Secretary with the Department for Environmental Protection/Natural Resources Cabinet. Before she began employment with state government, she worked as a Legal Secretary/Paralegal with the law firm of Johnson, Judy, True & Guarnieri of Frankfort, Kentucky.In 1991, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Paralegal Science from Eastern Kentucky University. While at the University, she was a member of the women’s track team. Currently she is enrolled in graduate school at Kentucky State University where she is majoring in Public Administration with a specialty in Human Resource Management. She is also a Staff Sergeant with the United States Army Reserves where she has been a member for 10 years. In September 1999, she was selected to be a participant in the 3rd class of the Governor’s Minority Management Trainee Program. She is a participant in the Frankfort area Civitan Club. She has started volunteering with the Frankfort Simon House, a shelter for single mothers and volunteering for the Frankfort Salvation Army. She is a member of the Bethel A.M.E. church in Shelbyville, Kentucky and when she does not get a chance to attend her church, she attends First Baptist Church in Frankfort. She is the oldest and only girl having three younger brothers. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include reading, watching television and shopping.
